My weight is something I have struggled with over the years, it has been a lot of ups and downs. I decided this year was the year I would really do something about it. I heard about soul studio and the 6 week challenge from my brother and his girlfriend. I decided to check it out and I am so grateful that I joined the challenge! The journey over the last 6 weeks was not easy one but it was filled with meeting new people at Soul and participating in fun classes. I lost 20.1 lbs and 22 inches. I am so proud of this accomplishment and looking forward to continuing the journey to a healthier me! Thank you to all the coaches and Soul sisters.
These 6 weeks have been some of the most challenging and exciting weeks I’ve had in some time. I learned a lot about myself. I learned that fast food industries spend a lot of money on advertising, that water is a bland snack, but most of all I learned to trust the journey. Not only did I meet my goals but I dropped over 20lbs. The group mentality at Soul Studios really helped me push through some of the mental walls I had along the way. It was an amazing experience and I hope to continue reaching my goals with the things that I’ve learned from Soul Studios.
I started off with the 6 Week Challenge, then kicked it in to high gear with the Warrior Challenge, and I’m proud to report that I’ve lost 13 pounds and 18 inches!! In addition to being able to lift heavier weights at higher reps than I ever have before, I also have a much better relationship with food (I’m all about that green smoothie and meal prep life now!), and a deeper understanding of how to listen to my body in order to lose weight while gaining muscle tone in a smart and healthy way. Most importantly - I have joined a community that motivates me and made strong, powerful, female friends at a place that’s so much more than a gym!
I LOVE Soul Studio!! I lost almost 25lbs and went down 10 inches on the 6 week challenge! The trainers are AWESOME, Incredibly supportive, kind and helpful. The classes are so much fun and the weekly meal plans and grocery list make it easy to stick to! I’ve come away with a new found understanding of my body and how to take better care of myself. I am so very grateful to all of the women that make amazing things happen at Soul Studio!
Today marks the end of my 6 week challenge. Although I didn’t quite break the 20 lb. Mark, I did release 18.5 lbs. And shrunk 9 inches overall! Whoop whoop! I am definitely on my way thanks to the program at Soul Studio, the amazing instructors and all of you beautiful women supporting me and each other! What a gorgeous experience and a very special “Tribe” Vicki, Eva, Licia and Karen have created. Cheers to healthy habits and the beauty it creates within us!
Yesterday marked the end of my 6 week challenge and the start of a much MUCH healthier lifestyle. I’ve officially lost 20.8 pounds. Not only do I feel healthier, energized, empowered, and more confident, I’m just happy. Happy because I’ve shed unhealthy weight. Happy because my posture has improved. Happy because I feel less aches and pain and more strength and definition. I am in no way some especially talented person who magically made 20 pounds disappear. I’m just a regular person who’s always loved doughnuts and Taco Bell far too much. The challenge was tough, at some parts more than others, but it got easier as I felt better and stronger. And it WILL get easier. I ate what Vicky said. I came to the work outs...my daily mantra coaxing myself out of bed was “I can do anything for 30 minutes.” And now, here we are! I didn’t lose a ton of inches, which wasn’t a surprise as I’ve always had a more athletic build. What I did change was the bloating and excess flub that just kinda hung around on every part of my body. My waist didn’t change a ton, yet , but my ankles, my calves, my forearms, my back, my neck...those places that really give away whatever you’re trying to mask under baggy tops, that’s where I’ve seen the biggest difference, so far! Positive. Empowering. Fun. All together life changing. Highly recommended for anyone who’s ready to get real REAL about their health.
Not sure that this was possible.... I did not lose 20, but I did lose 19, and I am 13 inches smaller. I feel so grateful for Vicky Luedtke and her vision to help those that NEVER thought this was a possibility! The most impressive part of this journey was the amazing positive energy every time I stepped into the studio. Thank you to all the trainers! Everyone of you worked us hard as though you believed we could do it!
I started this challenge not knowing what to expect, but I knew it would be hard. 20lbs in 6 weeks is no easy task, and it takes 100% commitment. I fully committed. I followed the meal plan(didn’t cheat). And I worked out. Knowing the way my body changes, I committed to more than the 3 classes a week. Usually working out 5 times a week. I accomplished the goal. Lost 20.2lbs and 13.5in. More than that, though, I feel great. I’m healthier. Not sluggish. My skin looks great. And I have a lot more energy. This has to be a life change. And it’s not for the faint of heart. But if you fully commit, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll feel it’s worth it. I know I feel it was worth it. Thanks for the challenge!
The Soul Studio instructors and community are amazing!! The motivation in the room was energizing and my day was so much more fulfilling because of it. Class sizes are perfect in size and intimate and the trainers all do a fantastic job of creating action-packed workouts; many last only 30 minutes. I was impressed by Vicky’s vision and philosophy behind her 6 week transformation challenge. I am a walking Soul Studio supporter and tell everyone I can about my experience. Personally, when I walked through the door, I felt unhealthy, unfit and was looking for a job. At the end of my challenge, I felt healthy, fit and was about to start a new job! And there are plenty of success stories to prove it! I’m proud to say I’m one of them! In 6 weeks, I lost 11 pounds and almost 5 inches. I feel healthier, more energetic, more.....me. Thank you Vicky and Soul Studio!
I had my final weigh in today and I’m proud to say that I lost a total of 20.4 lbs and 12.6 inches! I feel so much better and so much stronger!I’ve always been able to lose weight just by changing my eating, and I was never one to work out. I’ve learned that the way I’d lose in the past was the wrong way, it was always a quick fix, and they never last.I know that I’m in the best physical shape I’ve ever been after these 6 weeks at Soul Studio. My husband and I videotape weddings and we were able to tell about the second week in that our mobility, flexibility, and strength had improved significantly. Just this past weekend I was able to lift a very heavy piece of equipment with ease that before I would struggle to lift.Through this process, I was able to kick my soda habit and pretty much eliminate caffeine from my diet. I was a 12 pack a day Diet Pepsi drinker before this. I’ve learned so much and so many healthy habits that I’ve been able to bring home to my family through these 6 weeks. I’ve also had to update my kitchen to make it so I could cook (we used to eat out a lot in my house).You can see just looking at my before and after photos, how miserable I felt before this journey started. I feel so much better and all I can say to anyone starting out, just keep with it. It gets easier. The end is worth it.
I started a 6 week challenge on 06/06/2016 with my wife and now 6 weeks later I am down 27.8lbs and 15.9 inches! A lot of hard work and change of lifestyle, and I am not quitting yet. There will still be more to come! Thank Vicky Luedtke and everyone a Soul Studio for your encouragement and support, even when it felt like I was going no where!
