Licia’s passion for fitness began with attending group fitness classes at a local gym.  After a very

humbling first class (seriously, how can such small weights feel so heavy?!), Licia was hooked and soon 

was attending multiple classes per week.  Years into her group fitness journey, with the sore joints and 

limited flexibility to prove it, Licia took her first yoga class.  It was love at first sweat, and as the saying 

goes: when the student is ready, the teacher emerges.  Licia completed her teacher training through 

Lifetime Fitness in 2012 and is a RYT200 (Registered Yoga Teacher, 200 hours) through Yoga Alliance.  

Licia began teaching at Soul Studios in 2013.  She loves meeting new students, watching their practices 

develop, and confidence grow.

Licia’s hobbies include yoga (duh), strength training, cooking & eating, gardening, crafts, and traveling.
